Welcome to My Blog
Well, I figured it was time to start a blog (Thanks edelweiss :)
First things first: Jim has accepted a job in Bellingham, Washington. It is 47.5 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia. Mountains, Oceans, Lakes, Orcas, and a regular paycheck. He starts on June 25th. I'll be holding down the fort in Texas and putting our house on the market when it's time.
Since I've been in Texas from the time I was a gleam in someone's eye, it is with mixed emotions that I approach this impending move. The best thing I've learned is not to take anyone or any situation for granted. Love the ones you're with! I am so thankful I have so many great memories with all of my friends and family.

Wow!! That is big. I wish you and your family all of the best on your new adventure. You have a gorgeous family. We will just have to reunite on the annual girls' cruise.
Geez Mc Neelys- what a great adventure! Now Washington gets to be blessed with you guys- I'm feeling a little selfish- but understand what an impact each of you make in other's lives- so keep in touch & God be with you!

AND..........Happy Birthday & Anniversary!!!!! Have a great ONE!!!
Who'da thought! That sounds exciting. I guess if you can't be in Texas, enjoying a blazing hot summer, the Pacific Northwest isn't a bad aternative. God bless you all.

Oh my goodness! Washington state is SO awesome! Byron lived there for 5 years, you may recall (college and a one year job) and just loved it. May go back there one day. We also are big fans! It will be good for you to be in the WOODS! The only down side is the rain. Byron said it took getting used to, but the sunny days are so awesome and GREEN! Keep us posted on when you actually move. Love you, Judy
Wow, well it's closer to Microsoft up there. I am bummed because this may mean no McNeely's at our 25th (and LAST) 4th of July party. We are retiring the party this year, and want to go out with a BANG! [pun intended]
If you are around, come by. You guys are some of the most favorite people in my life.
Now Teresa and I have an even better reason to visit the Pacific Northwest someday. (Maybe on a 4th of July in the future, since we are not otherwise engaged).
Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happ birthday, we love you; happy birthday to you!
Congratulations McNeely's! Texas will miss you and your amazing gifts and talents. God is Sovereign and His plan is always perfect. We wish you blessings too great to count, peace, joy, and love. The Staples
Oh yes, and you can keep in touch easily with us through our blog! Love ya! Lori
Edelweisstexas here! Welcome to the wide world of blogging! This way we can all keep up with the exciting, ongoing advantures of you guys! I'm gonna miss the heck out of you Betty, and not just because I clean for you weekly! You're an awesome, Godly, Christian woman that I'm proud to call my friend! Maybe Montana isn't all THAT far from Washington!!! yeah right!

OMG! I thought this wasn't anything you were seriously considering??? And why won't you call me back! Ha! I have been crying since I read your blog. I want to pack up and go with you!!! I wish I would have spent more time with you guys. I will probably get to see you once every 15 years or something. (as you can see, change is very difficult for me) I am so sad that you guys are leaving me! I wish the best for you though. And who ever said it, was right, other parts of the world need to be blessed by your family. I know I have gotten more than my fair share of blessing from you and Jim and those most awesome boys!!! Please let me know if you need help with anything. I know this is a new season for you and it is for me too! I am so honored to have the wonderful privilege of knowing the McNeely family! I will miss you like crazy! I miss you already and I just saw you last week! Who will take care of your toes? OMG! Promise me you will let SOMEONE take care of your tootsies!!! Love y'all so much!!

I've never been up in that direction but it is on my wishlist of travel and I hear it is beautiful. All of us native Texans will want to hear a report on what it is like living in a place where the summers are not a billion degrees. What a great adventure for you.
I guess you forgot about the small print in the contracts you signed with me when your boys were born - you cannot take any of "my babies" more than 50 miles from where they were born! I love your wonderful family. Washington is very blessed to have you there.
